The sand is soft and pleasant to the touch, most beaches have professional lifeguard services and offer beach chairs and parasols, and the long promenade is a seamless connection between the city and the beach, allowing non-bathers to enjoy the view. Every seaside Tel Aviv neighborhood has its own beach, and every beach has its own unique vibe. Some of the remote northern beaches are harder to access and may only be reached by bicycle or a long walk, but they are more spacious, rugged, and natural. Most beaches are not as crowded in the morning hours; evenings are the best time to catch incredible sunsets, and there are special sunset-viewing spots favored by locals, such as the hill by the Hilton hotel or Charles Clore Park. The nighttime atmosphere along the main beaches attracts visitors who enjoy the less traditional hours. Saturdays are the busiest times to visit.
