This port area can be deceiving—its shops are spread out in hangars throughout the entire port; there are playground areas with grass and shade, and you can take a long walk around the port, starting at the Old Port with its old dock and cranes, continuing towards the vast deck and New Port area which boast even more restaurants, shops, and a charming merry-go-round, all the way to the east side of the port, where a beautiful path will take you along the Yarkon River, where you will be surrounded by lush greenery and a pastoral atmosphere. The port has everything – from furniture and design shops and toy stores, to shoes and clothing boutiques. Of course, there are also plenty of places to eat, from fancier restaurants to cafes, pizza shops and ice cream parlors, and Hanamal Market, which is one of the city’s culinary attractions.
