This is one of Tel Aviv’s most important and beautiful squares, once home to the national poet Haim Nachman Bialik. It is surrounded with historic buildings that boast amazing architecture. This special gem is hidden in a sleep residential neighborhood, but is only minutes away from the bustle of the Carmel Market. At its center is a fountain designed by artist Nachum Gutman and its main building is the old city hall, which is an impressive and beautiful photo location. The square used to house cafes and urban gatherings, but today it’s quiet and dotted with small museums that tell the story of Tel Aviv. Although it’s only minutes away from the beach and the Carmel Market, you won’t happen upon it by chance – which adds to its magic.
